Your new company
An established worldwide logistics business based in Wythenshawe are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This company is a subsidiary of a large international business and have gone through a period of growth over the last two years.

Your new role
This Accounts Assistant role reports in to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for a wide range of finance transactions and reporting requirements required to drive the business forward. The main duties will involve AP/AR ledger management, reconciliations and communication with customer/suppliers. Involvement in management accounts, month end reporting, prepayments and accruals. Credit control, ensuring all payments from customers from debtors in accordance with credit/payment terms. You will also get involved in project work with the Finance Manager and other areas of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will to have experience and/or exposure to a similar role as above. You will ideally be studying or want to study AAT/CIMA/ACCA but not essential. You will need to have good written and verbal communication skills. A good understanding of finance packages as well as having strong MS Excel skills.
