Purpose of the role: The role will involve supporting the Head of Risk and the Compliance Manager to facilitate and coordinate all the compliance and risk matters in the Bank, including maintaining Risk and Compliance records, producing management information, developing policies and procedures, conducting monitoring activities, and to provide a quality assurance service for all work procedures involving best practice to ensure compliance with all relevant standards across the firm. Assist with queries relating to money laundering, data protection and the FCA code to ensure compliance with all relevant rules, legislation, regulations, and contractual requirements associated with relevant bodies. Key Accountabilities: Maintain Risk and Compliance records in respect of the Risk Register, Risk Events, Conflicts of Interest and Gifts and Hospitality Assist with the preparation of the monthly Risk Committee reporting pack, Monitor processes to ensure they conform to all procedures and regulations. Manage the administration of compliance training results for employees on the Records Management System (RSM) Assist in the implementation and management of day-to-day compliance monitoring plans and procedures (based in part on compliance risk assessments) Assist in the compilation of compliance and money laundering reporting; Act as an integral part of the team regarding knowledge resources for all risk and compliance-related matters Ongoing development and administration of compliance training programs for all employees Ensuring that Risk & Compliance policies have been implemented, correctly and consistently through RSM Monitor compliance monitoring and audit reports and track action points and follow-up; Monitor the Bank's exposure to risk, and prepare related reporting for management and Committees Assist the Risk and Compliance team with the preparation of ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP documents and related processes. Assist with the monitoring and control processes for operational risk, market risk, credit risk, etc Assist in the preparation of risk assessments Build positive and effective relationships with key stakeholders within business units, developing their understanding of risk and compliance matters and influencing decision to ensure compliant behaviour. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required: Educated to degree level 2/3 years' experience in a Compliance / Risk role providing advice and guidance, preferably in financial services Strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with staff at all levels.
