Ben Johnson Ltd are excited to be partnering a high growth business in Leeds looking for an exceptional hands on Finance Director to lead their dedicated Finance team. We are looking for someone who will help this Group realise an ambitious growth trajectory providing finance support to a number of different companies. Community is at the heart of this business in addition to innovation which has led to several awards for design and sustainability. Reporting directly to the Owner, we are looking for you to lead excellent financial reporting, control and statutory accounting as well as manage a growing Finance team. As a rapidly growing company, it is imperative that the financial systems and controls can be scaled to support the business as it evolves from SME to a medium sized company so individuals who have experience of high growth environments are of particular interest. You are likely to be a very established Head of Finance/Finance Director looking for the autonomy and flexibility to create a best practice Finance function. Responsibilities:
Cultivate the Finance team to grow with the business Be responsible for Group cash flow and financial forecasting Design, develop and deliver strong financial controls Develop KPI reporting tools and dashboards to provide more meaningful MI Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts Supplier negotiations including credit agreements Produce year end accounts and manage annual audit Be a point of contact for the Bank including bank payment approvals Produce tax submissions and reclaims To succeed in this role, the Finance Director will possess exceptional communication skills and will be a leader in developing a 'can do' approach in the team. We are looking for a high calibre individual with an ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualification who is happy to do a 'hands on' Finance Director role.
