Interaction Accountancy and Finance have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Finance Manager to join our Bedford based Manufacturing client who are seeking a Maternity cover. Purpose of the role: To manage the Finance Team which consists of a Credit Controller and Purchase Ledger Clerk to ensure deadlines are met and to support when necessary. Whilst also ensuring the Financial Accounts are maintained and presented in an accurate and timely manner at each accounting period.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Support the Finance Director by providing financial support/advice as required
• Preparation of all year-end statutory audit information and to independently project manage the quarterly and annual audits
• Review and submission of all HMRC and VAT declarations within set timescales
• Complete management of monthly payroll and pension administration
• Review financial controls in place and to recommend and implement appropriate changes
• Support and train team when necessary
• Any other relevant & reasonable duties that may be requested by the Finance Director Required experience, skills and attributes:
• Minimum Part-Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or part - qualified by experience
• Full understanding of UK Financial accounting rules & regulations
• Experience of Exchequer or equivalent system
• Advanced Excel
