A rapidly growing heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance company is seeking a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join its team based in Salford. You will drive change and create an independent Finance function for a £10m subsidiary of the Group. The role requires a self-motivated and focused individual who will quickly establish themselves as a key member of the Senior Management Team, whilst developing processes and procedures and striving for best practice. Working nationally for several blue-chip clients, they are currently recruiting for several roles in their expanding and exciting business. As company culture is intrinsic to the business they offer a day off for your birthday along with other fabulous benefits such as; Bupa healthcare, pro-rata - 30 days holiday (inc bank holidays) rising to 33, pension, death in service insurance 4 X salary, free parking (Salford Quays), childcare scheme and an onsite gym As a Finance Manager, your duties will be to: Control of WIP, billing, credit control, procurement and purchase ledger functions & staff Monthly management accounts, forecasting and budget & variance analysis Provide focused, innovative and value-adding weekly & monthly KPI reporting to Senior Management Team & Directors Optimise and improve systems Lead, develop and inspire their own high-quality Finance Team to improve efficiency and information Deliver high-quality management information and performance measurement that is accurate and relevant To be a successful Manager you will have the following skills and experience: ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or finalist and a strong academic record Excellent communication and relationship building skills at all levels in the business Be a self-starter with a desire to work hard Have an organised approach to work with the ability to manage a wide variety of outputs and deliver against continual tight deadlines Interest in proposing and then driving change A desire to grow and develop in a thriving business Have a proven track record in effective financial management and possess strong management and communication skills In return, the Manager will receive a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum dependant on experience.
