Pure are currently exclusively recruiting on behalf of a Not For Profit organisation for a Senior Finance Officer to join a busy Finance team based in central Norwich. The role is ideal for someone who is looking to manage a small team whilst supporting the Finance Manager of the business. Due to growth and development of the business, this is a new role for the company which to create a new level of management between the Finance Officers and the Finance Manager. Key Duties for this role will include but not limited to: Managing a team of 3 Finance Officers Support the Finance Manager in producing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts Assist in internal audits Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger/Credit Control Data Analysis Reconciling bank accounts Reporting Create and maintain customer and supplier accounts Assist the Finance Manager with developing financial systems and processes to benefit the organisation Attending Management meetings Ad hoc duties as an when requested by the Finance Manager Personal Skills and Qualifications required: Fully AAT Qualified Clean DBS Good IT Skills including Excel (Excel skills are essential for this role) Evidence of ability to successfully communicate with a range of different audiences. Able to work unsupervised if necessary and prioritise own work load to meet deadlines Well organised with great attention to detail Previous experience managing a team You will ideally have experience (past or present) in the Not for Profit Sector and is looking to further their career within this sector.
