Macildowie Finance are currently supporting a well respected manufacturing business, based in Central Leicester with the recruitment of a Commercial Analyst on a full time, permanent basis. The role will suit an outgoing and engaging analyst with the ability to disseminate large volumes of data and then most importantly present and interpret those data sets to a range of stakeholders across the business, to enable the commercial decision making process. This business are well known in their field and are undertaking ambitious growth plans, both in the UK and abroad over the next 3 years. If you would like to test yourself in a highly exposed and analytical role then please read on Within this role you will be responsible for: Producing and presenting sales analysis on a periodic basis (weekly, monthly, annual). Providing your commentary on areas of variance to plan and the potential levers for these variances. Margin reporting/analysis presenting stakeholders with key information around product/customer profitability to aid in key strategic decisions. Lead on the production of the annual sales budget, working with several key stakeholders across the business. Produce standard costings for the entire product range. Working with operations to manage and appropriately challenge all components of the costing model. To be considered for this role you must be an experienced analyst with minimum intermediate level Excel skills (pivots, look ups, ifs). You must have demonstrable examples of presenting financial information including sales analysis to senior decision makers.
