We are seeking an experienced qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) to manage the Finance team for Girlguiding national charity and the Guide Association Trust Corporation. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Professional Services the role will: Ensure the timely preparation and submission of financial reports to a wide variety of audiences including the Board of Trustees, committees, budget holders and Senior Management Team. Promote the Finance department as a pro-active, solutions-focused business partner. Contribute to the development of Finance strategy. Be a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT). This is a crucial role for Girlguiding. You will have experience of managing staff and will bring a clear understanding of finance processes, controls, charity financial reporting and taxation. You will be dynamic and proactive, with good attention to detail, an ability to meet challenging deadlines and experience of change management within a finance function. You will be able to build strong relationships across the organisation as well as within the Finance function to provide an effective and efficient service to the charity. Based in London, there may be an occasional need to visit Girlguiding's other locations in the UK.
