We are excited to be partnering with a leading player in the e-commerce retail space, who having experienced some exceptional growth over the last 3 years, are looking to appoint a full time Financial Controller to their Surrey based operation. Supporting the Managing Director and working as an integral part of the senior leadership team, this role will have responsibility for developing and implementing financial policies, reporting & tax structures and supporting funding & growth financing activities. Key responsibilities will include: Monthly management accounting activities - including revenue and trend analysis Leading annual budgeting process Implementing monthly budget/forecast/sales variance analysis Statutory and year end accounting and audit Implementing and maintaining financial regulation and compliance Fixed asset maintenance VAT and international tax returns Oversight and review of transnational finance Ownership for developing robust finance systems We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalent) you may be coming directly from practice or have qualified through industry, with post qualification experience. This is a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, so success in this role will be driven by being highly organised, being able to manage multiple priorities and as the No1 person in finance, attention to detail is imperative.
