Tax and auditing junior accountant Salary £25,000 - £30,000 Permanent Full-time position A Fantastic opportunity has become available based in Kettering within a thriving accountancy firm. My client is looking for someone who wants to gain experience within a practice environment and has an interest in tax accountancy and the auditing of external companies. The successful candidate will work alongside both the tax and audit teams supporting them with their day to day duties, will gain first-hand experience of practice processes by working alongside senior team members and assist them with accountancy and audit duties as required. Duties will also include
• Assisting with the preparation of the weekly and monthly management accounts
• Assisting to complete company and client tax forms and data
• Assisting with the preparation of tax accruals for company records and accounts.
• Assisting with auditing duties for clients including the preparation and completion of auditing reports
• Completing any other accountancy duties as required The successful candidate will have a passion for working within a practice environment and who aspires to become a tax accountant and/or accountancy auditor. This position would suit a candidate working towards an accountancy qualification or have previous experience in tax and audit. Must be a great verbal and written communicator, must have the ability to multitask and have good attention to detail.
