Assistant Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a PQ Assistant Accountant job role in a global shipping company.

Your new company
As a global shipping company, you should expect a dynamic, energetic and lively atmosphere with modern open plan office. The organisation has a flat lined hierarchy and a small finance team which sits alongside brokers and office support team members. This organisation trades on a global scale and you will be liaising with teams across the world.

Your new role
You will be sat within a small, but sociable finance team within a busy office. Your duties will include; assisting with management accounts, month end duties, sole responsibility of purchase and sales ledger and liaising closely with the office team in London and multiple teams across the world.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll need a wealth of experience of transactional finance, a 2:1 degree or higher and the shipping industry would be a bonus. Ideally, you will have a hands-on and inquisitive nature who can handle pressure and enjoys a challenge.
