Description

As well as being responsible for the production of weekly, monthly Management Accounts and P&Ls you will business partner across the business looking for opportunity to drive forward company performance.

You will achieve this by business partnering with the operational teams, you will analyse the performance of the P&L, prepare budgets, forecasts and support in customer meetings. Ultimately you will be the driving force in process and commercial improvement.

Profile

The perfect candidate will be a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), have attention to detail and have a analytical approach to finance.

You must have experience of accounts preparation, including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and income deferral.

Be open to challenging existing processes and have a real passion to seek out new ways of working that will positively impact the business

You must be a true team player and have an engaging and passionate way of working. You must also be able to demonstrate working to tight deadlines in the past.

Be a exceptionally strong communicator, comfortable at all levels including sales teams, Directors and other internal stakeholders.

Be an expert in using Microsoft Office to demonstrate and implement your new strategies and improvements.

Have a real desire to progress your career (exposure to a 3PL environment would be a huge plus)
