Xero Payroll and Receipt Bank Bookkeeper
Account Managers spend as much time talking to the clients as they do behind a computer screen!
This would be a non-qualified person who is fantastic at talking to people and can also do Xero and Receipt Bank bookkeeping and payroll.
My client provide bookkeeping, payroll, accountancy and outsourced financial director services to SMEs.
They were started in 2004, oer the last 14 years my client has grown to a turnover of around £1m and employs 17 people. Offices are in Westbourne Park near Paddington. My clients are mostly based in London and have turnover from around £100k - £7m. Our clients include tech start-ups, PR companies, recruitment businesses and Charities.
My client is a very informal firm, we wear relaxed clothing (no suits) and have a flat hierarchy. We also love talking to clients and teaching business owners to get the most out of their financial information.
- High levels of written and spoken English
- Communication with clients in plain English with no accounting jargon. You must be able to communicate in a way that makes clients valued, respected and puts them at ease.
- Experience of building professional relationships with clients
Required experience includes
- Bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of Xero
- Running Payroll
- Preparing of VAT returns for business
- Part qualified ACCA / ACA or AAT
They are looking for an account manager to join our 6-person account manager team. Working under the supervision of our managing director, the account manager will spend their time bookkeeping, preparing management accounts, making payments and running payroll for clients and talking to clients every day.
All of there staff are great communicators, who are comfortable sending emails, speaking on the phone or meeting clients in person. Specifically, we are looking for account managers who can communicate in plain English to clients without using accounting jargon.
