OVERVIEW:JUNIOR RISK CONSULTANT / JUNIOR RISK ANALYST / JUNIOR RISK MANAGER (work from home). Would suit Graduate in Risk Management / IRM qualified Graduate with 12 months Risk management industry experience working with external clients on Project Risk and business transformation across defence/energy/construction/oil & gas/engineering. SALARY; £28K-£33K (depending on experience) benefits package.

- My client is based in Devon but the newly appointed candidate will work from home. You must be based anywhere in the South West as weekly / bi-weekly meetings with the managers based in the South West are required. My client has a plan to take office space in the future in a mutually convenient location. THE ROLE:- My client has a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring individual to join a growing Risk Management consultancy team. Candidates who have gained core risk management attributes in their careers so far can expect to be developed into proficient risk managers through a program of training and client engagement in a range of projects within the UK. You can expect to be exposed to a broad range of interesting projects within which to firmly establish yourself as trusted advisor to senior management. The successful candidate will work closely with my client's team of experienced consultants to support the development of risk management solutions for new and existing clients. This is a truly GREAT opportunity to actively support the early growth of a risk management business and you can expect to be actively involved in the next phase of growth Aspiring Risk Consultant team leaders / Managers have a genuine opportunity here. The skills you need Degree educated (ideally in risk management or related disciplines) with postgraduate qualifications considered a plus Risk management experience (including cost and/or schedule risk analysis) Experience using risk management toolsets such as ARM/Primavera Risk Analysis (or equivalents) would be beneficial Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail Strong commercial awareness and an ability to understand broader business challenges An interest in emerging technologies and software and a passion for improving the communication of traditionally uninspiring information A strong, confident written and verbal communicator Driving licence and ability to travel around the UK, often working away on client sites Be able to gain SC level security clearance Professional membership of a relevant institution, as well as formal qualifications in risk and project management will be desirable.
