The successful candidate will be part of our growing Employer Services Tax team providing employment tax advisory services to a wide range of clients, covering a range of sectors and, sizes of business. This role will be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to): Delivery of high quality employment tax technical advice to clients ranging from adhoc queries to larger advisory projects. This will cover areas such as employment status/IR35, Construction Industry Scheme, termination payments, National Minimum Wage, Benefits and Expenses, tax due diligence and HMRC employer compliance reviews. Support in growing the Employer Services team across Scotland through business development and building relations with key clients and sectors. Delivery of tax technical presentations including internal staff training Risk and financial management responsibilities for client work Working with other specialists across the firm as a subject matter expert The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge in all areas of employment tax, a proven ability to spot and convert employment tax opportunities, good client relationship skills and a proactive and professional approach to business development. The successful candidate will also be confident in client-facing situations and offer strong commercial awareness together with strong project and client administration management skills. They will be flexible and have an ability to manage their time efficiently, working to tight deadlines and across multiple projects.
