Our client, an impressive global business with offices in Hemel Hempstead are looking to source a technically capable financial accountant to join their team. This role will be on an initial 3 month period with potential for extension being very likely. This role will have no direct reports but is expected to manage and work with external parties where required. The Finance manager will assume joint responsibility for the statutory reports and for consolidating and reporting information for the European region. Key

Responsibilities:
-Year end support - prep of supporting documentation for annual audit for PRO entities -Reconciliation of accounts -Coordination of VAT reporting for UK, DK, FR and NO -Controller role in purchasing system, reviewing and coding invoices -Reporting to national statistics office -Reporting to national bank -Reporting and detailed analysis -Preparation of monthly reports -Controlling of investments in tangible fixed assets -ad hoc issues (resolving VAT issue, stat audit work, etc.) The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 5-10 years' experience working in financial control / reconciliations and solid working experience with internal and external accounts.
