Salary:
£30,000 - £35,000 / Annum We are looking for a highly organised, motivated and experienced individual to take responsibility for day-to-day financial operations. Working in a small, friendly Finance Team that has a reputation for efficient, timely operations, and this new prominent role will be important in the next stage of rapid growth. Key Skills: High level of attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive Strong numeracy skills, including good problem solving Ability to manage time and prioritise a diverse set of tasks A team player focused on achieving team/company goals Competent IT skills with good knowledge of Excel A team player focused on achieving team/company goals Honesty, integrity, and reliability Duties to include: Support month-end and year-end process Prepare monthly management accounts Complete Vat returns Cash Flow management, including weekly forecasting Monitor the control of costs Management of accounts assistant Provide assistance to our Advisers, Administrators and other business partners with any fee and commission related queries Processing fee/commission calculations each month to pay advisers Production of monthly management information Reconciling / investigating the more complicated queries on overdue commission and fees received using our CRM system Intelligent Office (training will be provided) Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc duties Experience Required: You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working in an accounts/finance operation Part/Fully Qualified, or Qualified by Experience A can-do attitude is essential Experience with Quickbooks advantageous but not essential as training will be given Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
