Bookkeeper To £30,000 Welwyn Garden City A leading independent manufacturer within their sector of identification solutions for the construction and telecoms industry is now due to expansion seeking a highly capable bookkeeper to help with the control and organisation of their accounts. Our client operates in the UK and Ireland and also export internationally to EMEA, GCC countries and also as far as Australia making them almost immune to future BREXIT issues that may arise. With this in mind, suitable candidates will have experience of bookkeeping for a manufacturer or bookkeeping within the Business to the Business arena who understand the complexities with taxes and export duties required when selling overseas. This is an interesting and challenging role which will also require a number of day to day duties expected from a bookkeeper position as outlined below. Weekly reporting to include oSales oDebtor's current amounts owed to SF oCreditors current amounts SF owes oCash flow Month End Routine to include preparation of Creditors pay run Banking: entering onto accounts package daily movement within bank accounts Reconciling both UK & foreign bank accounts Reconciling petty cash VAT & E C Sales returns - online via HMRC Credit Control to include oCredit checks for new lines of credit - currently use Experian Business Express oChecking monthly Creditors statements - requesting missing invoices oIssuing monthly Debtors statements oChasing unpaid debts, if necessary Input of Purchase invoices - this may necessitate logging onto supplier online accounts Reconciling Barclaycard Credit card accounts Reconciling Company Credit card statements Reconciling Company Expenses - general Reconciling MD expenses including: oForeign oCredit Cards For more information and to apply for this position, please send your CV with a covering email to explain why you feel you should be considered for this post.
