Product Compliance Officer. Our client produces a range of electronics components for use in critical applications in military, medical, electric vehicle, satellites and mobile communications. An exciting opportunity exists for a Product Compliance Officer to ensure products and materials are compliant with global environmental legislation. Reporting to the Director of Quality & Compliance your duties will include: Generate and maintain a global system to capture material data / information, to be used to determine product compliance status to standards (including EU RoHS, China RoHS, REACH and California Proposition 65). To provide Full Material Declarations when requested by customers, including maintaining third party requirements such as Bill of Materials checks. Organise third party product evaluation, such as SGS reports, to verify the compliance of products to legislative requirements. Maintain a good understanding of current legislation and potential future legislation. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements e.g. labelling, declarations, datasheets / catalogues, certificates of conformities and website information. Regular global travel will a requirement of the position Qualification and Skills: Candidates will have previous experience of environmental product legislation gained in a Product Compliance, Quality Assuarnce or related role. Relevant experience for product compliance in an industry such as electronic, automotive, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, chemical, medical devices, laboratory or similar area is desirable. Salary and Benefits Annual Salary - up to £45,000 Annual Incentive plan bonus of 5% of salary (based on Company performance and achieving personal targets) Standard working hours: 39 per week.
