Recruiting for a Financial Controller/Management Accountant , this job is for a Fixed Term Contract of 9 Months and will report to the Site Financial Controller and will produce accurate and timely financial reporting and accounting, through analysis, business partnering and engagement with the wider business. The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for the company's financial budgeting and forecasting values, which need to be aligned to business expectation and goals during a period of sustained success and growth. Working closely with other areas of the business including operations, sales and senior leadership, not just finance, So what is the job? Permanent analysis of actual fixed cost compared to budget and forecast on cost centre and G/L account level Permanent analysis of actual headcount compared to budget and forecast on cost centre level Prepare meaningful reports and presentations on fixed cost & headcount based on existing templates Discuss fixed cost variances with cost centre managers Prepare comments for reporting pack Support forecasting, budgeting and business planning for fixed cost Calculate accruals and provisions for month end closing and preparation of journals Ensure balance sheet reconciliation Ensure compliance to accounting principles and relevant corporate guidelines and policies Ensure that relevant processes documentation is up to date What are you like?
