Our client is an international organisation that is a leader in its field. They are a dynamic and growing organisation. We are looking for a part qualified/ newly qualified accountant who is ambitious and wants to work with a great team. Person specification: You are a qualified accountant or in the final stages of qualification with experience in the financial management of long term projects. You are naturally proactive and a strong completer-finisher who takes real pride in their work. You are logical, analytical and inquisitive thinker and you use the information at hand. Y ou are a team player capable of tracking and managing multiple projects and are capable of finding data necessary from other sources. You have a calm and confident manner that instils the confidence of others. You work efficiently and effectively to deliver results without causing pressure to you or the organisation. You will have regular communication with senior management, and so excellent communication skills orally, in writing and in presenting financial information are a must. You are comfortable dealing with colleagues across the Group whom for some English is not their first language. You have the tenacity to ensure the right information is at hand to ensure timely invoicing with the diplomacy when interacting important client relationships. You will have and you enjoy direct client contact. You are highly commercially aware. You understand the difference between revenue recognition, invoicing, cash collection and deferred / accrued revenue (client balances). You understand the importance of cash flow to a business and recognise the importance of accurate and timely invoicing for our clients and partners. You will be capable of regularly facilitating the forecasting of future revenue and expected invoicing dates with accurate reliability. This is a key role in our Client Service Team in the Group Finance Department. The Client Service Team is responsible for all Finance related aspects of client relationships including revenue recognition of professional fees, invoicing clients according to agreed schedules, recovering pass though costs, collecting cash and ensuring this is correctly recorded in the accounting system. This team works closely with the Business Development and Project Management departments and across the whole of the Group. You have the ability to build effective relationships with both clients and colleagues alike. You will enjoy the contact with people across the Group as a whole and in multiple countries as you solve differences in opinion between clients and the business. This role is likely to give exposure to the Group's senior management and you will enjoy and be comfortable with this level of engagement.
