About The Role: We are currently seeking an Assistant Tax Manager to join a highly respected accountancy and business advisory practice. You will have true scope to grow and develop your career and an excellent range of benefits are on offer. You will be managing your own portfolio of clients and supporting the Tax Managers, Directors & Partners in managing and controlling the activities and performance of the Tax department. You will be managing the production of client's personal and/or corporate tax computations for your own clients and Partners' clients. You will be tasked with planning, controlling and reviewing work carried out by team members to ensure work is completed within timeframes and budget. As a staff manager, you will also assist in completing appraisals for all allocated members of staff to develop and enhance their effectiveness. Requirements: You will probably be CTA/ACA qualified with up-to-date technical knowledge. You should be IT literate and have supervisory and organisational skills. You will be client focused and commercially aware with good problem solving and decision-making ability.
