Assistant Accountant

12 month contracts, Assistant Accountant, £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hays are currently working with a large market leading organisation in Walsall, who are seeking a driven and highly capable Assistant Accountant to join their finance team on a temporary contract for a period of 12 months.

Your new role

The job is a varied one, it involves; producing timely financial reports, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, journals, nominal ledger and assisting with producing monthly management accounts.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience of working within a varied accounts role; including month end routines. You will be on a maximum of 2 weeks notice and will be happy to commit to a 12 month assignment. Ideally you will studying towards an accounts qualification.
