Interim Principle Accountant

Your new company and role
You will be working with a large local authority based in the West Midlands as an interim Principle Accountant. You will be looking after two teams, Corporate Services and School Finance and also report directly in to a Finance Business Partner.

You will be responsible for the provision of financial information and advice, annual budget setting and business planning, production of statutory accounts and liaison with senior stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful for this role you must hold a full CCAB recognised qualification (e.g CIMA, CIPFA, ACA etc.) and you MUST have experience of working within local authorities. You will need to be a committed and dynamic individual with a strong understanding of local government accounts.
