My client is a Wine, Spirits and Craft Beer Distributor Dedicated to Supplying Premium On-Trade Venues in the UK since 1982. They are a team of 7 who are supportive and bubbly who are have two opportunities within their team. They are set in the heart of Chalk Farm, London. Tree lined streets it's an idylic place to work in London.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Credit Controller (FMCG) will be:

• Reconciling customer accounts (accountancy)

• Releasing orders to cut-off times

• Chasing payments via telephone and email

• Solving of invoice queries efficiently

• Opening accounts and setting credit limits per the Company's Credit Policy

• Allocating payments per customer remittances

• Monitoring queries on a regular basis (accountancy)

• Reporting aged debt on Excel

• Meeting with Sales team/Internal Departments/ Customers to resolve account issues

• Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested

• Assisting with forecasting, and reporting to identify issues

• Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and ensure the Credit Control Manager is informed of any account issues

Profile

The successful Credit Controller (FMCG) must:

• Have worked in FMCG previously
• Opened up accounts, carried out credit checks and authorised credit limits
• Dealt with accouns that have gone into liquidation
• Be able to commute to Camden, London
• Be available to interview immediately and be on a max 2 week notice period

It would be desirable if the Credit Controller (FMCG) had:

• An understanding of EDI
• JD Edwards experience (accountancy)

Job Offer

The successful candidate will spend the first 6 months on an hourly rate and there is a strong possibility that it will go permanent.
