The role will report to a Head of Commercial Finance, owning the delivery of financial reporting and analysis for all revenue streams, associated operating and capital costs for a multi billion pound organisation. Main duties include: Lead management reporting and financial planning and analysis process, including revenue reporting, trend analysis, annual budget and 5 year planning Provide finance and non-finance insight and challenge to the management of the commercial business Manage a team of 3 or more direct reports, ensure they stay motivated and supported Drive analysis and provide support on performance management matters Identify and manage business risks Build and maintain a strong understanding of the technical nature of the business and any regulatory changes that can have an impact Skills & Experience required: ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified with a strong academic record (5 years PQE) Advanced BI systems user Clear commercial nous and understanding of business drivers Financial controls/accounting experience Proven leader, with a track record managing and retaining high performing teams A natural business partner, with the confidence and gravitas to influence decision making and garner respect amongst senior peers Team-orientated approach, capable of rolling up sleeves when needed and leading by example This is an exceptional opportunity for a bright and engaging finance professional to join a high performing team with great scope and autonomy to be instrumental in shaping future strategy.
