Responsibilities:
Leading a team of 8 (5 Credit Controllers, 2 Cash Allocators, 1 Credit Risk Analyst) so to provide a proactive, responsive and quality driven credit service in line with predetermined SLAs Put relationships at the heart of Credit Services, building trust with internal and external customers and the team, and driving results through influence and cooperation Driving engagement levels across the CPE Credit Services Team Manage agreed KPIs for the Credit Services Team and complete regular 121s Work to attaining a first rate service level by reducing and retaining due / overdue debt at a satisfactory level along with mitigating risk for potential bad debts Keep queries and disputes to an acceptable level, the results of which will be a cash collection level satisfactory to the business needs Number of calls, Age debt levels, Un allocated Cash, Interaction and relationship with the business and the SSC. National account aged debt and service levels and Client visits as and when appropriate Managing customer relationships both internally and externally and balancing these with the sensitive commercial and credit strategy Effective communication both written and verbal Proficient use of Microsoft packages ideally advanced excel Passion for driving achieving results with a can do attitude 5 to 10 years previous Credit Manager experience with ICM qualified or equivalent or studying towards would be an advantage This role is fast-paced and high pressured but the promotions, benefits and rewards make it more than worthwhile.
