Interim Process Improvement Accountant - Scunthorpe - £35,000 - £40,000 Chase and Holland are proud to be recruiting for a successful, growing group of companies based in Scunthorpe who are looking for an Interim Management Accountant. Initially this will be for an initial 3 month period supporting the Head of Commercial and Group FC during an exciting and busy period of change. You will identify, design and implement improved processes, procedures and controls across their commercial businesses to improve the flow of data and confidence in the numbers. Key responsibilities will include: Process mapping and reviews then delivering defined improvements in processes and controls Documenting processes then training across the teams Develop new reporting to deliver cost savings and more accurate financial information Develop more detailed project P&L and variance reporting Develop and prepare accurate balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow forecasting Work with Head of Commercial to develop robust pipeline modelling and MI reporting Business partnering the budget holders to drive business strategy and improve efficiencies Requirements: The ideal candidate will be: Part of fully qualified ACCA/CIMA Accountant with relevant experience to hit the ground running quickly Technically competent and strong understanding of accounting principles IT literate including strong excel, and various finance/ ERP systems experience Continuous improvement mentality with proven process mapping and experience of developing processes, controls and procedures Willing to 'roll your sleeves up' and get stuck in Available on a short notice and able to commit to the 3 month contract as a minimum In return: You will have the opportunity to play a key role within an exciting, unique business True business partnering role and opportunity to make real tangible impact Flexible working hours and excellent benefits package If you are interested in this Interim Management Accountant role please apply now.
