BTG is supporting an Online Retail and Media Partnership in their recruitment of a Head of Commercial Financial Planning & Analytics to manage the interface between organisations Marketing / Sales teams and Finance. My client is growing through both organic and acquisition, which has identified the requirement internally to streamline and support commercial reporting and efficiencies cross division. The Role The role of Head of Commercial Financial Planning & Analytics, will be positioned outside of the normal Statutory Finance Function, and will take control of the businesses £1.6million market spend for 2019. As Head of Commercial Financial Planning & Analytics you will be responsible for taking high level, complex information and delivering to the key stakeholders across the Sales, Operations, Contracts and Marketing while also working automatously with the wider finance teams. This is a high level position with the organisation, and therefore your reporting line will be directly into the Senior Board of Directors across all disciplines - I am working directly with the organisations CEO and she has highlighted this as a "key, business critical position" within his organisation and therefore will ensure there is 100% support at board level. Key Area's / Responsibility / Requirements Return on Investment: Where is the 2019 / 2020 Marketing Spend Black Friday Investment Promotion lifecycle Breaking into the US Challenge and Drive Efficiencies: Act as a change agent across multidiscipline business lines. Work closely with the senior leaders of the business to adopt a forward looking, horizon scanning approach to the health and performance of their business unit. Provide pragmatic insight and analysis to Operational Leads to model & interpret Business Planning to inform the requirements for the current and future structure of teams to optimise margin. Modelling pricing assessment on all tenders Business Plan & Budget Management Reporting The successful qualified accountant is to be encouraged to engage with senior stakeholders, to help drive finances exposure across the business. Yours skills as an accounting professional and a commercial analyst will be utilised to help drive profit. Your Profile The highly communicative nature of this role, combined with detailed reporting and business critical information, means that this role is suited to Qualified Accounting Professional who understand how complex information can be delivered to targeted audience in a fashion which ensures the team, division and organisation reach their goal. Applicants Must Be Suited to a Fast Paced Online Retail Business and have Experience of working with Marketing and Sales, with relevant experience that can be demonstrated.
