The Executive Director will be primarily responsible for building and strengthening relationships with both new and existing financial service sector clients (predominantly asset management, banks, insurance companies) by delivering the desired client experience and value proposition; and strategically leading and developing the client management team. About the Role Your impact as an Executive Director: Develop and maintain effective relationships with Clients Responsible for being an effective leader of a client facing team Accountable for the development of new and existing business Act as a role model in the business by consistently demonstrating integrity, professionalism and quality Accountable for maintaining and improving client satisfaction and profitability Ensure effective working relationships between the Client Management and Client Service teams, so that together they drive revenue and profit growth Responsible for improving client retention revenue Responsible for supporting the effective delivery of global service through network relationships, where appropriate Accountable for negotiating the best possible price and capacity using knowledge, expertise and market presence for desired cover Review market submissions and presentations for new business and renewals to ensure that they effectively sell the clients risk to the market Ability to understand the Client, their industry and their risks and match them with potential Aon Solutions Understanding of financial lines products and ability to cross sell (or champion cross selling), where possible Responsible for advising on market trends Accountable and responsible for articulating the value delivered by Aon and effectively lead remuneration negotiations Responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements and business procedures (including usage of applicable trading platforms and application of Aon insurer security policies where relevant) Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon
