Compliance Lead - Warwick Circa £40,000 basic salary per annum This is a full time position to cover maternity leave for a period of 12 months. It is our people that enable us to do that, which is why they are the heart of our business. Calor are looking to appoint a Compliance Lead to join our newly formed Compliance & Risk department. You will develop and maintain our Compliance Management Framework, Business Support Framework, and work closely with key stakeholders to influence and support the wider business. This will include the development and delivery of compliance training and close work with our Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, and QSHE teams. Key responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining, in conjunction with relevant functions, a Compliance Management Framework Manage the Business Support Framework through close engagement with control owners, ensuring that key areas of remediation are identified and closed out in a timely manner Respond to Data Subject Access Requests in a robust and timely manner and ensure effective and proportionate measures are in place to identify and protect person information Support and develop the delivery of compliance training and awareness programs Develop and maintain strong relations with all levels of the organisation with a focus on Internal Audit, Legal, Finance, and the QSHE team Support Internal Audit in the development and maintenance of a holistic assurance map, highlighting the company's key assurance providers As such we would like you to: Have a high awareness of data protection and GDPR regulation with some awareness of other areas of legislation/regulation (e.g Competition and Anti-Bribery) Experience of working in a roles which span both compliance and risk Attention to detail with the ability to work with large volumes of data Be process orientated Be a strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation We look forward to hearing from you To be considered for the above opportunity you must be eligible to live and work in UK and hold a full driving licence that is valid for you to drive in the UK.
