Our client is a fast moving and expanding services company that is seeking an Interim Management Accountant, with SME company experience. The Role: An Interim Management Accountant is required to prepare, develop and analyse key financial information that ensures the company can make well-informed decisions for future stability, growth and profitability. This will include monitoring and managing the reduction of operational costs whilst developing effective internal processes. Key Accountabilities:
• Prepare management information reports on a weekly/monthly basis as required
• Preparing monthly management accounts within 5 days of Calendar month end
• Preparation of the Year End financial statements
• Preparation of budgets, cash flows reporting on variance analysis with commentaries
• Providing support by working with all management team to help make financial decisions
• Ensuring costs are kept in line with the budget
• Ensuring that the suppliers are paid within contractual terms
• Ensure Payroll department comply with minimum wage, PAYE and HMR&C legislation
• Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers
• Monitor and evaluate financial information system and suggesting improvements where needed
• Completion of VAT returns, PAYE returns, P11Ds etc to HMRC within set time limits Ideal Candidate will have:
• Qualified CA, ACCA or CIMA, Qualified By Experience with relevant experience
• Excellent computer skills with experience in accounting systems and proficiency in all Microsoft applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook
• Highly numerate and accuracy
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to interpret and utilise sales Management information and market trend data
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
• Ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way
• Strong project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels including non-finance members of staff
