Management Accountant Job Manufacturing company based in Telford c.£28,000 + ACCA/CIMA Study Support

Hays are exclusively working with a manufacturing business based in Telford who have a permanent job vacancy within their finance department. Reporting to the Financial Controller and working in a small finance team we are looking for a flexible and hands on accountant who is driven and pro-active.

Your new role
You will be responsible for the production of Management Accounts, Balance Sheet control and reconciliation and profit and loss analysis. This will include month-end preparation and close, quarterly forecasting and review of manufacturing variances. You will be involved in a range of other tasks including working with shared services on GL, AR, AP and Credit Control, periodic costing reviews and working to reduce waste and improve efficiencies.

What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant - ideally CIMA/ACCA. Our client can offer continued study support for applicants wishing to become fully-qualified but will also consider applications who are lapsed/stopped/qualified by experience. We are ideally looking for applicants within a manufacturing business who ideally has experience working with foreign currency and exchange rates. You will have a good commercial acumen, and able to work to tight deadlines.
