Italian Speaking General Ledger Assistant - Permanent - £30,000 - £34,000 - Hemel Hempstead IN2 Consult have an exciting opportunity for an Italian speaking General Ledger/Accounts Assistant to join a fast growing, fast paced and dynamic business based in Hemel Hempstead. The role is to process entries through the General Ledger and to assist the Accountants. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a busy business environment where you will work on a wide range of tasks. The General Ledger Assistant should have strong analytical skills. The duties of the role: Preparation and entry of journals as required Support Accountants throughout month end close Maintaining journal logs and journal files Daily preparation and reconciliations of cash book to General Ledger Inventory and purchasing sub ledger closes and reconciliations to General Ledger Analysis of statutory returns Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations Data collection and submission of VAT and Intrastat returns The successful candidate will have: At least 2 years experience in similar position which includes VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and General Ledger Strong Excel skills MUST speak fluent Italian Have Shared Service Centre experience (desirable) Experience of Oracle ERP system This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/85974746
