This 6 month interim Accounts Assistant - Accounts Receivable position is based in Kings Lynn and is looking for someone with good experience across Accounts predominantly focused on Accounts Receivable tasks but also someone flexible to chip in and assist across the wider finance team.

My client are an established and stable Public Sector and Government organisation based in Kings Lynn with a great local reputation and hold their internal and external relationships in high regard with a clear focus on ensuring their work profits the country. The management team are experience and in need of someone flexible to focus in on Accounts receivable but also take responsibility for credit control and accounts payable duties

Description

Accounts Assistant - Accounts Receivable duties and responsibilities;

  • Maintain the accurate Accounts receivable ledger, ensuring debt are collected and suppliers paid
  • Maintain effective credit control and debt management
  • Ensure the purchase order invoices, credit notes, staff expenses and payments are processed in a timely and accurate fashion
  • manage supplier relationships through dealing with finance queries
  • manage payment terms and credit limits
  • ensure accurate data management of all ledger related information

Profile

desired mix of experience, criteria and characteristics required for this temporary Accounts Assistant - Accounts Receivable position;

  • Experience in an Accounts Receivable and/or credit controller position
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes
  • strong communication skills
  • team player happy to support others and cover internally across the finance team
  • based locally to Kings Lynn and able to commit to a 6 month contract term
  • good excel and accounting systems experience
