Based in Bristol, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Management Accountant and Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly accounts

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for;

• Liaison with internal stake holders

• Detailed review of transactional details

• Intercompany invoice calculation, processing and review

• Production and assistance with intercompany processing in different currencies

• Assistance with agreement of loans, intercompany debtors, intercompany creditors for top companies (P&L and BS) and review of balances

• Accounting and reconciling month end trial balances, P&L and BS before review, for UK top companies within tight deadlines

• Production of the quarterly Management charges

• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT returns

• Assistance with cash flow analysis and forecasting

• Assistance with accounting, reconciliations and analysis work

• Payment for company acquisitions

• Assisting in audit queries

• Continuous improvement - making processes and systems better and more efficient

Profile

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant and will be studying towards a recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
