P&O Cruises has entered an exciting growth phase with two XL class ships launching in 2020 and 2022, this growth requires financial support and this role is an integral part of CUK's FP&A function in ensuring financial acumen and integrity is at the heart of P&O Cruises commercial planning. You will be expected to operate at the highest levels with the ability to influencing senior executives within both finance and the brand teams as to the best decisions that will support the brands ambitions. This role requires a commercial astute individual who can prioritise effectively and deliver focused outputs that bring performance to life. You will be the key financial representative on the highly creative planning team supporting and influencing the creation of commercial campaigns to ensure the brand delivers its booking targets whilst ensuring financial control is maintained and that our investment decisions deliver the most optimal returns. You will also provide financial support for the distribution strategy maximising our revenue opportunities and ensuring our performance is reported accurately and in a timely manner. This role has line management responsibilities of an assistant analyst that will support you in delivery of the purpose of the role whilst they complete their chartered accounting studies. About You: We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) educated to a degree level with several years commercial experience working in a Finance function in a variety of roles. The candidate needs to be experienced at analysing and interpreting financial data and explaining the results to both financial and non financial customers Ideally we would like an individual who has experience in developing business insight to drive performance and has worked in a specialist analytical role previously. You will understand a structured business planning cycle and have multiple years of business partnering experience. About Us: This position has been levelled at CUK08.
