Due to growth, an independent Accountancy Practice require a Trainee Accountant in their Liverpool office. They are a fantastic growing firm who specialise in accounts and tax within a very interesting sector This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to work as an Accounts Trainee with at least 6 months experience within Practice. The employee will be reporting into the Accounts Seniors and Partners. The candidate will receive full training and support and will be responsible for bookkeeping and accounts preparation for clients. You must be able to perform basic technical tasks as assigned, apply common sense and show an understanding of the basic concepts of accounting. Requirements; Experience in an accountancy practice. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to manage time and meet deadlines, as guided by manager. Knowledge of CCH or IRIS would be preferable, although not essential. Knowledge of cloud based software would be preferable, although not essential. Duties to include; Accounts preparation. Bookkeeping. Demonstrate an understanding of double entry bookkeeping. VAT Returns. Payroll processing.
