Purpose of the Role: To lead, develop and maintain transport compliance standards throughout the network to maintain a legal and operationally efficient department
Responsibilities:
To ensure all depots meet FORS standards and keep the network up to date of changes within the FORS framework To ensure all depots meet O License obligations in terms of driver and vehicle management Ensure all depots have the relevant training to enable them to achieve the requirements of internal audits Ensure all depots maintain Tachomaster and / or relevant Tachograph management system to include infringements, WTD, RTR, missing mileage etc. Ensure all depots are adhering to department targets Ensure all internal Telematic systems are kept up to date and used effectively Ensure all depots are ISO compliant Ensure all depots are pro-actively monitoring teams and coaching / providing feedback Ensure emissions across the network are monitored and demonstrate continuous improvement Essential Experience: Excellent IT Skills (Particularly Excel) Excellent Presentation Skills Strong Communicator & Problem Solver Working with external bodies and audits Desired Experience: Train the Trainer HGV Licence IOSH FORS Practitioner Tachomaster Experience
