Rutherford Briant recruitment are currently recruiting exclusively for a Head of Finance position. This role will be responsible for the production of Monthly Management Accounts as producing Statutory Accounts for the group of companies. Typical Duties include: Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, normally within ten working days of the month end, incorporating a consolidated income and expenditure statement and balance sheet. Maintain a fixed asset register to track all capital expenditure and calculate depreciation Prepare accurate annual statutory accounts for the subsidiary companies within the group, incorporating profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and full notes to the accounts. Completion to be in accordance with the year end external audit timetable and in line with the current UK accounting GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in force at any time, for review by the Treasurer Undertake other ad hoc projects including financial modelling and analysis to assist the organisation in its ongoing review of the cost effectiveness of its services, processes and procedures, etc. The successful candidate will have experience with the full management of a Finance Team as well as working within a group function.
