Our client is a leading firm of accountants and due to expansion they now need an experienced Tax Senior/Manager to manage a portfolio of clients in their Reading office. For this role you will need experience in Rural/Agricultural clients . This role will involve assisting managers and directors with their portfolios of personal tax clients including HNWIs, company directors and sole traders, ensuring that all compliance work is completed on time, accurately and efficiently. As well as the day to day compliance work, you will have involvement with the provision of tax planning advice. The ideal candidate will be at least ATT / CTA part qualified and have a wealth of experience in Personal Tax work. Those qualified by experience will also be considered. The role : Assisting with portfolios of clients Preparation of personal tax returns Reviewing personal self-assessment tax returns Providing guidance and support to junior staff Identifying tax planning opportunities and dealing with ad hoc tax planning opportunities Assisting the partners with tax consulting work relevant to HNWI and trusts when required The person: ATT Qualified / CTA Part Qualified Strong Personal Tax experience within a practice environment Rural/Agriculture experience is ESSENTIAL
