Part-Time Credit Controller required in Canary Wharf / Canada Water, London. Our client are seeking a Credit Control Administrator to work within the Accounts team collecting outstanding debt. The successful Credit Controller would be expected to maintain the sales ledger database, chasing any outstanding payments, collection of the payments and also reconciliation of accounts. Previous experience working in Credit Control or Sales Ledger is preferred along with knowledge of accounting packages and good Microsoft office skills. Part-Time Credit Controller Position Overview Ensuring all invoices are paid within the designated time Ensuring all sales ledger transactions are processed in the database to carry out end of month reports Reconciliation of accounts Dealing with financial paperwork and filing Creating & adding new customers to the database Preparing & processing sales invoices, receipts and payments Updating financial paperwork in regards to banking Assist in the setting up of the credit control system Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity Regularly making contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms Provide accurate advice on billing queries Respond promptly and completely to both client and internal enquiries Propose write off of irrecoverable receivables Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required Send out monthly client statements/letters as may be agreed from time to time Part-Time Credit Controller Position Requirements Essential to have at least 3 years' experience within a Credit control role or similar Experience using software such as the Microsoft Office Package would be essential Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and colleagues V Look up and pivot table experience is essential Ideally a hard-working individual who can withstand pressure Ideally have knowledge and previous experience with Sage 50 Part-Time Credit Controller Position Remuneration This is a part time role for 3 days per week, two days must include a Monday and a Thursday, the other day is flexible. Based in Canary Wharf / Canada Water The hours for the three days are 9.00 am - 18.00pm

Salary:
