I am currently recruiting for a temporary to permanent Credit Controller in Belper, this position is initially for a period of 2 months with a view to then becoming a permanent position. Applicants will need to have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working in Credit Control and managing their own ledger of clients. Knowledge of Excel is ideal but not essential. Duties: Chasing overdue accounts by telephone and email Raising a bad debtors list Dealing with all queries ensuring that they are responded to or escalated in a timely manner Sending out copy invoices and statements as necessary Ensure month end deadlines are meet Assisting with the allocation of cash when required Liaise with the sales team to resolve any barriers to payment Ad hoc cover for absent colleagues when necessary Applicants must be well organised with a great attention to detail and have strong interpersonal skills. In return the company are offering a salary between £20,000 - £22,000 depending on experience. Hours of work will be 8:30 - 17:00 (Monday to Friday), with a 1-hour lunch break. Other benefits include free parking, pension scheme, 20 days holiday ( 8 days statutory); increasing by 1 day for every year of service up to 25 days.
