We are looking for a Senior Operations Credit Control Associate to join our team based in our London or Redhill office, on an 8 month fixed term basis. The role will require someone with a good understanding of London Market premium processing and be able to work on their own with direction. You will assisting in the processing and clearing of premium entries and working closely with the Credit Control team. You'll be Investigating and processing payments received from Brokers and Clients from around the globe in order to identify relevant correct premiums to be applied to the payment. Working closely with the Underwriters and members of the finance department to resolve issues surrounding unallocated payments in conjunction with working closely with other members of the operations and team. Working closely with Redhill finance team, to advise of any significant debts cleared. Dealing with both internal/external queries in a timely manner. Reconciling ledgers To work with the outsourced credit control function, underwriters, the risk processing team to optimise premium recoveries and cash allocation performance and minimize queries and process hand offs including unallocated cash To provide day to day oversight of the outsourced providers for the credit control of the allocated systems ensuring non-bureau cash allocation is completed out in a timely fashion, high quality queries issued to brokers and underwriters, data corrected and follow up of overdue items carried out with brokers and underwriters. To assist with the bureau and non-bureau month end close for our non-Lloyd's business To identify training needs for the outsourced service provider through amending risks to allocate cash and provide corrective training, or develop appropriate procedures to address the issues. You'll have; Basic accounting experience/skills London Market and Bureau knowledge Open Co use preferable or any Underwriting Risk System knowledge essential Able to work as an individual and prioritise own tasks Intermediate excel skills
