This is a growing team with its finger on the pulse of the firm's strategy. The tax team is responsible for providing tax compliance services to the firm and its Partners and employees, including corporate tax, personal tax, international tax for international project workers and assignees, benefits reporting, and VAT compliance. Your role As part of this team, you will join the management team of the Firm's Tax Department, with responsibility for reviewing the work of junior members of the newly-formed mixed tax service delivery team and involving contact with customers and key stakeholders within the Firm. The Business Tax Group within Firm's Tax is responsible for managing the cross border tax obligations of overseas projects and assignments, including both business and employee taxes, and Social Security for the individual project workers and assignees. You will need to be highly organised and meticulous in your approach in order to meet deadlines successfully. Coaching and knowledge sharing will be important as you'll have a shared management responsibility for junior team members. It's a stimulating and broad-ranging role, where you'll have the opportunity to put your innovative ideas into practice. What experience should you already have? To be considered for this position you will have personal and/or expatriate tax return compliance experience, with a UK focus. You will also have experience of reviewing the output of junior staff members and managing a team. You will ideally be ATT or CTA qualified and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
