Your new company
An up and coming global media company who have recently experienced huge growth since opening their operations in the UK are seeking a part-qualified or qualified by experience Accountant.

Your new role
Working in a team of 4, you will be the company's all-round accountant, dealing with a series of duties surrounding both management and financial accounts.

You will be fully responsible for the production of the company's month end management accounts for two entities.

This will involve performing inter-company transactions and group consolidations between the different entities. Other day to day duties will include production accounting for the production entity of the business and reviewing contracts surrounding the company's merchandise entity.

Whilst you will be heavily involved in the month end process, you must also be happy performing transactional finance duties such as creating, processing and tracking invoices.

On top of all this, you will continuously seek to improve the company's accounting processes and procedures in whatever way possible.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be part-qualified or qualified-by-experience all round Accountant who is fully competent producing full sets of management accounts without any need for assistance. You must also have an excellent working knowledge of IFRS as you will be expected to keep the companies accounting practises within these guidelines.

As the finance team is relatively small, the company is seeking someone to start in the role immediately. Therefore being immediately available will be a huge advantage.

Furthermore, due to the fact a large part of the role will involve production accounting, having a media background is essential. Having a background in audit will be a huge advantage also.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a fantastic salary of up to £40,000. There is also the possibility of a discretionary bonus/study support however this will be reviewed on a case by case basis. You will also receive an exceptional holidays, pensions and benefits package.
