Consumer Products Division

The Consumer Products Division’s mission is universal: to offer the best in cosmetics innovation to the greatest number of people on every continent. Its brands are available in all mass-market channels (hypermarkets, supermarkets, pharmacy’s and retail stores). The division is the spearhead of the group’s quest to win over a further billion consumers. The Consumer Products Division includes popular brand such as L’Oréal Paris, NYX, Mixa, Garnier, Maybelline & Essie.

Be responsible for proactively assisting a CPD Commercial Controller to ensure adherence to key internal controls and to manage the commercial payment cycle. This is an exciting opportunity for a new Graduate or somebody with a financial background: We are looking for a high performing individual to assist the Sales Team in maximising profitable sales opportunities and the Commercial Controller in monitoring the commercial P&L evolution in order to promote optimal decision making within the business

What are key highlights of this role?

•Clear commercial debt conforming to internal control procedures

•Ensure sales teams comply with promotional accrual processes and raise provisions using SAP

•Report and align on provision balances with sales teams on a regular basis

•Assist Commercial Controller / Sales teams with the preparation of account P&Ls and theirinterpretation

•Assist in monthly reporting cycle / construction of budgets and trends

•Preparation of key commercial reports

•Ad hoc projects to improve internal controls / reporting / efficiency of debt clearance

•Outstanding rigour and attention to detail

•Strong interpersonal skills are essential as the role involves close liaison with the Sales team

The candidate should have an interest in studying for the CIMA qualification.
