Financial Operations Manager
Effective leader required for a growing division of a larger group in Southampton
Your new company
A growing and established medium sized business in Southampton who form part of a wider group seek to appoint a Finance Manager with excellent leadership skills who can taken ownership for a local team who manage the day to day transactions of the business.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead a team who process the daily transactions across accounts payable, suppliers and payroll. You will run the month end process ensuring all reconciliations are tightly managed whilst upholding rigourous financial control and processes so the department runs smoothly. You will drive best practice when it comes to process improvement and support a range of ad-hoc projects which are due to kick off in 2019. Finally you will lead and inspire the local team, ensuring that they produce a standard of work in keeping with the companies overall objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a finance professional who demonstrates excellent leadership and time management skills. Ideally you will bring exposure to a high volume environment with the ability to take accounts through to trial balance.
