LB Recruit are working with a successful client based on the outskirts of Chelmsford who is looking to bring on board an experienced Financial Accountant to work part-time as their Financial Controller. This is a business that needs someone who is confident in their financial abilities and is highly experienced with Xero. In this role you will be provided with your own office and asked to work 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work more around year end. Responsibilities of the role: To manage and complete all budgeting and forecasting on a monthly basis. To be responsible for completing and managing cash flow forecasts. To manage payroll and pension, and to keep up to date with any changes. To be responsible for tax liabilities. To generate invoices and payments, and manage the storing of these. Prepare management account reports. Manage the funding that my client receives. Requirements of the role: My client is looking for someone who is confident in their Accounting ability and almost sees it as second nature. To be willing to work extra hours if needed. Extensive experience with Xero - essential Experience of managing budgets and cash flow forecasts. Experience of managing pension and payroll. Experience of managing accounts. This role would suit any candidate looking to step down from a full-time, 5 day a week role , that is still looking to keep their accounting skills sharp and work in a busy but caring environment.
