Macildowie are currently seeking an Accounts and Payroll Assistant to join an international brand based in Milton Keynes. The organisation have recently undergone a number of restructures which has resulted in the creation of a newly created position. The Accounts and Payroll Assistant will receive a salary of up to £32000 per annum. Main

Responsibilities:
- Assisting with monthly accounting processes and reconciliations - Taking responsibility for the completion of accruals and prepayments - Managing and controlling the payroll on a monthly basis for the UK business - Data entry of payroll information - Taking full responsibility for the payroll inbox and ensuring a good level or service and communication to resolve any queries - Calculation and completion of payroll legislation (SMP, SPP, SSP) - Annual completion of payroll statutory reports including P11D's and PSA returns - Calculation and responsibility for processing company payroll administration - Completion of month end journals - Working with the wider finance team to complete monthly reconciliations of bank and balance sheet - Ad hoc duties as required Person Spec The ideal candidate must: - Have experience of payroll processing - Have an understanding of accounting processes and ideally will have previously worked with accruals and prepayments - Have a strong level of Excel Salary The Accounts and Payroll Assistant will receive a salary of up to £32,000 per annum along with a fantastic benefits package.
